Ownership Structure (Ownership Chart)

As part of the onboarding process, MultiSafepay may request information about your organization’s ownership structure.

This helps determine who owns or controls the company and who the Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) are.

Organizational Chart of the Ownership Structure

If requested, please provide an up-to-date organizational chart that shows your organization’s entire ownership chain.

The organizational chart must include the following:

  • The full legal name of your company.

  • All direct and indirect shareholders.

  • Any intermediate entities or holding companies.

  • The official statutory name of each entity in the structure.

  • The full name of each individual UBO.

  • The ownership percentage per shareholder or UBO at each level of the structure.

  • The relationships between entities and individuals.

  • The date on which the organizational chart was signed.

  • Signature of an authorized officer of the company.

The organizational chart must show the entire chain of ownership all the way down to the natural persons who are the ultimate owners. The document must not be more than 6 months old.

Supporting Documentation

MultiSafepay may request additional supporting documents to substantiate the organizational chart, such as:

  • Shareholder register

  • Chamber of Commerce extracts for intermediate entities

  • Extract from the UBO registry

  • Articles of Incorporation or Bylaws

  • Other official documents confirming ownership structure

Ensure that the information in these documents is up to date and exactly matches the organizational chart.

Important:

Include all intermediate entities in the organizational chart. It is not sufficient to list only the direct shareholders if they are legal entities.

Example:

If your company is owned by a holding company, and that holding company is in turn owned by two individuals, you must provide the entire chain of ownership, including the ownership percentages at each level.

Step 3: Verify your business bank account

Verify the business bank account in one of the following ways:

  • Make a verification payment of €1.00 from the specified bank account, or

  • Upload a recent bank statement or screenshot from online banking that clearly shows the IBAN and the company name.

Please note:

Always use the business bank account specified during registration. This account must be in your company’s name.

Step 4: Review and Approval

MultiSafepay reviews the information provided and performs the required Know Your Customer (KYC) checks. In some cases, a security deposit may be requested to cover financial risks.

Once approved, your account will be activated, and you’ll be able to receive payments and request payouts.
